Part-Time Events Coordinator

The Revery is a new, premium, natural light photo studio and event space. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee all our events at The Revery and ensure that they run smoothly and handled with care.

The events coordinator needs to be extremely dependable and responsible. Excellent communication skills and prior experience are an absolute must.

We need someone who is open to a fluid working environment and willing to take on new responsibilities. This may quickly turn into a full-time job in a matter of months.

The part-time events coordinator will report directly to the founder.

Responsibilities

  • Expected to be the main point of contact for various event bookings (both big and small).

  • Responsible for educating clients and vendors of our House Rules and in-house procedures.

  • Down to work on weekdays, weekends, and late nights.

  • Responsible for booking and overseeing cleaning service, security, and parking.

  • Responsible for the check-in procedure and check-out procedure for all events.

  • Ability to quickly trouble shoot any technical issues that may arise during an event and stay calm under stressful circumstances.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of events experience.

Operations Manager

The Revery is a new, premium, natural light photo studio and event space. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to create best practices for operating a photo studio and event space, managing our CRM process, and to ensure the highest likelihood of clients returning. 

The Operations Manager will run the day-to-day operations and will need to be dependable and resourceful. They will be expected to manage the maintenance of the premises, the load-in and load-out of clients on a daily basis, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during a rental, and promptly responding to booking inquiries. They will spend time developing and fostering relationships with new and existing clients to ensure that The Revery is the most desired photo studio and event venue in Los Angeles.

As a start up, this role will evolve every 3 to 6 months. We need someone who is open to a fluid working environment and willing to take on new responsibilities.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the founder and will have to manage the rest of the operations staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entire CRM process and always looking of ways to improve our internal processes to optimize the customer experience. This includes emailing and responding to all customer communication and ensuring that all requirements have been met before a booking is confirmed.

  • Responsible for identifying and tracking key performing indicators specifically for operations and customer experience. Examples are metrics such as rate of returning clients, conversion %’s  of leads to paying clients, number of returning clients, and client satisfaction rates. 

  • Managing the checking-out process for clients on a daily basis. The process ensures that clients safely exit and load-out of the premises and physical damages to the premises are minimized.

  • Managing vendor relationships with our catering partners and photo equipment rental partners. This responsibility will evolve quickly in 6 to 12 months to include more wedding vendors. 

  • Managing office supplies and immediate needs of the photo studio and event venue.

  • Responsible for scheduling the photo shoots and events and ensuring there are zero double bookings and minimizing human error.

  • Managing operations staff: cleaning staff, handyman, security, and parking.

  • Maintaining physical property of the photo studio and event venue. This includes managing repairs, ordering supplies, identifying damages, watering plants, etc.
